Seasonal Help Wanted: Assistant Market Manager

 

We are looking for an energetic and committed Assistant Market Manager. This individual will have a passion for local food and crafts.

Our Assistant Market Manager will:

  • Help organize, set up, maintain, and break down markets.  

  • Provide short breaks for vendors, help with tents, and place roadside signs.

  • Conduct customer counts and maintain records as required

  • Communicate in a professional manner with customers, vendors, and special events personnel, online and in person.

  • Organize equipment and storage areas

  • Assist the Market Manager as directed throughout the season

This individual must:

  • Be willing to work outside in inclement weather

  • Work some weekends

  • Occasionally start work at 6:00 am

  • Be able to lift over 50 pounds

  • Have internet access

  • Possess a valid driver's license,

  • Have a vehicle which can be used to transport bulky items, such as tents and signs.

The Assistant Market Manager position is estimated to average approximately 25 hours per week during the market season and will be paid $13 per hour.
